It's my 2.3L out of a 1990 Mustang. Roller cam and rockers from a Ranger. Headers from another Ranger. Aluminum intake with an Offy carb adapter. NOS '76 Holley 2 bbl carb. Turbo coupe aluminum valve cover.

This is very cool. Is it going back into the Mustang?

Good buddy had a 2.3 in his merkur. It was modded and murderously fast. Actually it was more murderous than fast, but it was still fast.
The power delivery was soooooooo turbocharged.

I'll ask the inevitable: What kind of power does it have?

Is this half a SOHC modular 4.6?
![]() 08/21/2013 at 11:46 |

Nottttt really. If it was the 4.6 would make 176 hp at the wheels.
